Matt Dalby is walking around the entire M60 motorway in May and making art on the way, as part of his Islands project, which he describes as follows: “Islands is a series of artworks planned for 2015, beginning with a series of soundworks called Islands : Wind. My walk around the M60, and the period of preparation leading up to it, will lead to the creation of a set of linked works called Islands: Manchester. Islands : Manchester will exist across different media such as text, video, sound and installation works.”
