Small Publishers Fair 2014

The Small Publishers’ Fair is an annual celebration of books by contemporary artists, poets, writers and book designers. It is held in November, in London’s Conway Hall, and this year takes place from 11am to 7pm each day on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 November. Read more and download a programme here.

seekers of lice at the Small Publishers Fair


Other Room performer seekers of lice will be showing a short film on Saturday 16th November at 2.30pm at the Small Publishers Fair (Conway Hall, Red Lion Square).

This year’s Fair brings together presses from across the UK – from Cornwall to the Vale of Glamorgan, and from Kent to Edinburgh. They will be joined by publishers from Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Netherlands and Norway.

Key organisations from the world of small publishing and artists’ books will also attend: artistsbooksonline, bookartbookshop, Boekie Woekie, The Saison Poetry Library; Book Arts, Centre for Fine Print Research, University of the West of England, and Royal Holloway MA Poetic Practice.

Reality Street at the Small Publishers’ Fair

REALITY STREET will be at the annual Small Publishers Fair  in November over the weekend of Friday 11th-Saturday 12th November. It takes place in the Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, London WC1R 4RL.

Reality Street will be featuring the three new books in the Narrative  Series that are being launched this autumn:

  • Dwelling by Richard Makin
  • Gero Nimo by Johan de Wit
  • The Raft by Leopold Haas

On the Saturday, at 4pm, Richard Makin will launch his 672pp “anti-novel” Dwelling, and John Gilmore will (belatedly) launch his book  Head of a Man, which was published at the beginning of this year.
