Tony Lopez, Works on Paper published by Crater Press
New from Crater Press: WORKS ON PAPER by Tony Lopez At the apex of modernism in the early twentieth century, Bury in Lancashire was the world centre of industrial paper manufacture. Works on Paper by Tony Lopez is a serial poem looking through the history and language of that technical innovation and place of trade. The poem was written in 2008, first performed at the Text Festival in 2009, and printed on (130gsm) Hahnemuhle old antique laid by Richard Parker in October and November 2011, limited to 100 copies at £4.
Copies are available now at http://www.craterpress.co.uk

GLTI.CH Karaoke (LONDON event)
Meanwhile Space. O2 Centre, 255 Finchley Road London, NW3 6LU.
A project that seeks to set up unnecessarily-elaborate portals of amateur singing, GLTI.CH Karaoke posits that there is discernible value & joy in:
1. the collective stumbling & frustrations met in the face of tech limits, language barriers & time zone differences
2. oblique experimentation &
3. embracing & folding in “errors” in future iterations versus seeking to “overcome” or eradicate them.
GLTI.CH asks to be written & rewritten as cracks, bruises & mistranslation errors gather & proliferate through pop songs & datastreams, as people are GLTI.CHed together.
More at the Facebook page and at the Meanwhile Space site.
