The film of Craig Dworkin’s remote reading for The Other Room on 7th October 2009 is now online for your edification and delight.
We were recently interviewed by Oliver Fay for Resonance FM. The show is being broadcast on Tuesday 29th September at 11pm. You can stream the show online here at that time, or alternatively if you live in central London you can tune in to 104.4fm. We are working on archiving the recording too, so keep an eye out on the blog if you miss the show and want to listen to it.

Thought people might be interested in seeing this. Made it about 2/3 years ago. Wanted the feel of those late night Czech animations.
Poem Talk podcasts available for dedicated close readings, the latest being no 21 where
“We talk about a poem by Charles Bernstein written in 2002, published in World on Fire and eventually collected in Girly Man: “In a Restless World Like This Is.”
Gotta beat Late Night Review.
To relive those moments or for the first time here are the videos. I had to chop them up to fit them onto Youtube. The Other Room 7 and Alan Halsey reading in April 2008 are still being transferred but are on their way for sure soon. This is the reading order of the night. For some reason Sean’s first part starts 1. 24 minute or so into the tape so roll forward.

“In the mid-70s, I made a number of audiotape works, some of which were collected and published as Class. Working with Danny Snelson, and in collaboration with Ubu, I have now made a PennSound page of these works. The PennSound page also includes the restored stereo cuts from Class, which I haven’t listed here. All of the works listed here are being released for the first time.”

Patricia Farrell gave a wonderful reading at The Other Room 6. Unfortunately this was a night of technical meltdown and recording came to a halt. She has very kindly recorded a sample, being a section of her cycle Whose Signature.

Photos from the fantastic July reading by Tina Darragh and p.inman are now online. Click here to visit the photos page.
