Poets for Pussy Riot – the videos
A week after the news that Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alyokhina and Yekaterina Samutsevich of the Russian punk collective, Pussy Riot, were sentenced to two years in prison, over 30 contemporary poets came together at the Rich mix arts centre in Brick Lane, London for a unique evening of readings intended as an act of solidarity through the medium of poetry, and a celebration of the courage and spirit of fellow writers of this generation.

Chris McCabe and Tom Jenks – Salford reading
Chris McCabe and Tom Jenks will be reading at The Angel Centre in Salford on Sunday 6th May at 3.30 pm as part of the Sounds of the Other City festival. In addition to individual sets, they will be performing both of their Camarade collaborations in full. Here is a film of the first, read at the Rich Mix in London in October 2011.

A compilation of sound art, drone, improvisation, noise, spoken word, sound poetry and other sonic experiments, from experimental label OSG. Contributors were asked to respond to Henri Bergson: “…In truth, all sensation is already memory.” The release is compiled either to play as a continuous album, or in three separate LP length sections; tracks are numbered accordingly.
